What Hunts inside the Shadows

This book was disappointing. At the beginning, I felt as though Estrella was being a spoiled brat. I understand that he "lied" to her. Even though, who wouldn't have figured out who he was. However, if the humans had SA'd me, threw mud at me, spat on me. threw a knive at me and so so much more and all he has done was try to love me, it would be hard for me to choose them over him. I know that she was raised to think a certain way but in every aspect, even in the beginning, for the most part, the Fae have been decent and the humans have been ridiculous.

About half-way through the second book and I am having to really push myself not to DNF this book. Their bond is interesting. Obviously I don't mind books that are very spicy BUT they have to have a good story also and this is starting to lean on the more Smut no storyline books which is exhausting. I get it, they did it again for the 15th time in 2 hours but can we please try and figure out what she is and why her fingers are turning black. This series could definitely have been 2 or 3 books in my opinion. I will see if I am able to finish this or not.

Sadly, I am here to update that I just couldn't bring myself to finish this. I have been craving a great storyline and I just felt like this story focused only on sex to carry it storyline and that ruined it for me. If I come back to it and try and finish the series then I will update this blog.
